Week 16 Photo

Middle of April, frost on my windscreen. England… pah!

I’d like to take credit for this ‘lovely’ piece of artwork but the wife did it. Not sure if she ‘hearts’ me or my car…!?

Yep, you’ve guessed it, another hillside shot from my lounge.

I was stood there at the window watching this slim band of light move across the hills when I thought to myself… “Take a bloody photo, QUICKLY!!”

Week 14 Photo

Another photo of the hills facing our house.

What I love about this photo is the multitude of weather conditions. Storm clouds rolling in, sunshine breaking through the clouds and snow.

Only in Todmorden.

Week 13 Photo

Old Trafford.

The Theatre of Dreams.

Home of Manchester United Football Club.

Was lucky enough to get my hands on a VIP ticket to the recent Premier League clash against Fulham.

Not a great match I have to admit. United were aiming to go five points clear of local rivals Manchester City at the top of the league and were looking very nervous. Thankfully, a Wayne Rooney goal just before halftime was enough to see United take all three points. United avoided a massive scare near the end when perennial party-pooper Danny Murphy looked like he had earnt Fulham a penalty. Not this year eh Danny…?

Lips! And lots of them.

This is the wallpaper outside the toilets in the Bramsche Bar in Todmorden.

Week 11 Photo

It was the wife’s birthday on the 28th March so we had a family ‘whip round’ and bought her an iPad 3.

I’ve got to say, all the hype about the display is totally justified. I compared it side-by-side with my iPad 1 and it truly is gorgeous. So much so, I’m reluctant to go anywhere near it – it’ll make me want one too much.
