Laptop Stickers

There are many laptop stickers you can buy for your Macbook that exploit the ‘glowing Apple logo’ but this is one I’d give serious consideration to ‘buying and applying’.
The Justice League of America – brilliant!!!
Only gripe? Shame it’s not Batman at the front with the glowing logo.

Really interesting article on Forbidden Planet’s blog about the evolution of the Bat Logo.
I’m sure if someone had the time and was willing to go through all the Batman publications – this graphic collection would be much larger.
Gelaskins
Posted by: | CommentsI own a Blackberry (don’t laugh!) and I’m not due to upgrade my handset until at least February next year.
So, I was quite happy to do anything to my boring-looking Blackberry to make it appear more attractive.
Cue Gelaskins!
These guys produce funky stickers you can wrap your gadgets up in. They have hundreds of pre-designed stickers to choose from or you can design your own and upload them.
I decided in this instance I would choose from Gelaskin’s library. I picked the eBoy’s ‘Baltimore Docks’ (see below).
iTunes 10 Logo
Posted by: | CommentsI’m really surprised about the amount of flack Apple are taking for their updated iTunes logo.
What’s wrong with it? Looks pretty good to me. Plus, it’s visually consistent with the iTunes logo on the iOS devices.
The problem is, Apple have become so big in people’s eyes (in particular the media), that everything they do nowadays is scrutinised with a microscope. Just look at the media furore surrounding the recent ‘Antennagate’ issue. You don’t see Sony getting that much negative media when they recall yet another batch of laptop batteries.
Looking across the dock on my Mac, there are dozens of app icons down there that are worthy of a stern critique.
